Ulnar nerve entrapment is caused by pressure on the ulnar nerve at either the elbow or wrist. The condition often develops in connection with overstraining due to one-sided hand movements during work, or because of powerful and/or awkward working movements for many years. Using a computer mouse for long hours can be a big proponent of developing ulnar nerve entrapment.
Symptoms:
Weakness or tenderness in the hand
Tingling in the palm and fourth and fifth fingers
Sensitivity to cold
Tenderness in the elbow joint
What We Recommend:
RollerMouse – Centrally located in front of the keyboard, a RollerMouse eliminates harmful movements by keeping users arms in a neutral, forward posture. By design a RollerMouse will ensure users reduce pressure on the ulnar nerve in the wrist, mitigating the cause of ulnar nerve entrapment.
