Contour Design is looking for an ambitious and results-oriented Product Advisor who will play a pivotal role in advising public and private companies about Contour ergonomic products in the Northern California region.

Over the years, Contour has proactively worked to educate employers on the ergonomic benefits of its products and how they can prevent repetitive stress injuries among their employees.
Acquired by Polaris Private Equity in 2021, Contour is now primed to grow its global commercial business and is focused on developing relationships with its corporate and reseller customers.
The Product Advisor position
The Product Advisor role is a newly created position within Contour. This position will be responsible for advising public and private companies about Contour’s ergonomic products to help them select the best products for their employees’ needs.
The Product Advisor will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing for Contour US and will work closely with their Regional Key Account Manager. The Regional Key Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the local resellers and distributors in their area, while the Product Advisor will work with local businesses to drive commercial demand and educate them on the best options to promote ergonomic health amongst their employees.
As the Contour Design Product Advisor, you will work with existing commercial customers as well as seek out new opportunities to help educate businesses in your region about Contour. These businesses should come to view you as a trusted partner who understands their unique business needs.
Your day-to-day schedule will vary depending upon customer meetings, scheduled events, trainings and outbound calls, so you must possess excellent time management and prioritization skills. In this role, you will be required to organize and lead engaging presentations at customer meetings, local trade shows, and community health fairs. You must be adept at handling all levels of conversations and negotiations between Executives, Medical Professionals, and Reseller Partners alike..
Primary tasks include:
  • Product training and presentations for new / existing B2B customers.
  • Collaboration across the Contour US Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Participation in fairs, trade shows and other local in-person activities.
  • Present to new accounts based on leads provided through Contour’s resellers and B2B marketing channels as well as generating your own new leads and contacts.
  • Activation and support of influencers, influencer networks and their target groups.
  • Being a strategic contributor to activities such as webinars, and blog development.
  • Required regional travel of approximately 50-70 days a year.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate for this position has 3-5 years of B2B/Commercial Sales experience. It is a huge advantage if you have a natural interest in ergonomic health and previous experience working with corporate Human Resources and Facilities departments.
You must possess the rare combination of excellent analytical, interpersonal and time management skills.
Most importantly, you are an inspiring storyteller, who can motivate an audience and convince people around you to listen to what you have to say. You work well with a team and will thrive in a role presenting to Influencers/Ambassadors, Corporate Executives and Reseller Partners.
