IBM RS-6000 and HP Workstations Information   Contour Design has specialized version of the Contour Perfit Mouse to support both IBM RS-6000 Unix workstation and HP workstation versions that have PS2-style mouse connections. The RS-6000 and HP Perfit mouse have been integrated into one unit. The version of this mouse has 3 sizes (Small, Medium and Large) for the right hand. We'll be adding the additional sizes as demand dictates. There are no drivers to install, as the mouse operates as a 3-button IBM mouse replacement. IBM RS-6000 Unix Workstations This version has been tested: with the following version of AIX at the IBM Austin facility 4.15 4.21 4.30 and on the following RS-6000 models 43P, Model 140 and 240 560, 590 F50 E20 HP Workstations We are working on getting a list of HP model systems that will be supported. The newer machines will all be supported. Older HP with HIL port for the mouse: this version requires a separate adapter available elsewhere. (We do not provide it.)
