The Perfit Mouse made my carpal tunnel syndrome go away in about two days. Previous to the Perfit Mouse, I was wearing wrist supports to bed every night and still feeling chronic wrist pain.”

I had been experiencing severe, continuous pain from the elbow down to the wrist. Within a few weeks of using the Perit Mouse, the pain was gone. That was five or six years ago and I've been pain-free ever since.”

"As ergonomic anaylst for IDX Systems Corporation I've recommended the Contour Perfit Mouse to our employees with larger hands that are experiencing wrist pain or discomfort while mousing. By allowing the handand fingers to "spread out" the users can relax their grip and rest their hand in a more natural position. The Perfit mouse, when combined with good ergonomic work habits, is a proven solution to reducing discomfort associated with mousing activity for our large-handed users."

Contour Spells Ergonomic Success @ Exabyte Corp.

"The tremendous success of the Ergonomics Program at Exabyte Corporation is based on early intervention and finding the correct solutions. The Contour Perfit Mouse has proven itself to Exabyte employees as the most beneficial and popular mouse for PC's, Mac's, and especially Sun Stations. We use them in all sizes, and they are perfect for persuading a user to switch to their non-dominant hand for mousing, when necessary."
One of the ergonomic devices that I use extensively at Exabyte is the "Contour Mouse". They are especially beneficial for Sun workstations that come with a non-ergonomic mouse.

The Contour Mouse is, without a doubt, the most comfortable mouse I have used. It fits like a glove.

The Contour Mouse addresses a fundamental principle of Ergonomics, anthropometric differences, through offering different sizes.

The Contour Mouse also offers several sizes for left-handed users.

Although a single Contour Mouse is not able to be used by ambidextrous users, both a left-handed and right-handed Contour Mouse can be connected to a PC with a simple switchbox so a user can alternate hands, reducing the mousing exposure by 50%.

I am writing to say how much I like your mouse. I am a Certified Professional Ergonomist and have been using a mouse and doing office ergonomics assessments for companies all over the country for many years. As an ergonomics consultant, I have tried a dozen different types of mouses by every manufacturer, attempting to find any where my wrists did not hurt after a few hours of constant use. Yours is the ONLY one that allows me to keep my wrists in a neutral posture and does not cause pain. I now recommend it to all my office ergonomics clients where a mouse is used heavily. I have one here at my desk and at my computer at home. My colleagues and employees also have them. In addition to the overall good fit for the hand, I also especially like the little "holder" on the side for the thumb. This device really gives the user a lot better control of the mouse without having to increase the grip force to hold it.

Well, that's it. Just wanted to tell you that I consider it a very good product and of very sound ergonomic design.

"I was having pain in my right hand and wrist from gripping a mouse that was too small. (My hand would curl over the sides.) The larger mouse has helped reduce that pain to almost nothing. I am even thinking of purchasing one for my home.

Love the Perfit Mouse, have 2, home and work.

It has enabled me to work with virtually no pain after suffering a severe swelling in my right arm [rsi?] where my elbow joint swelled to double size requiring complete immobilization incapacitating me for a week, plus special support for 6 months.

I bought a new G4 about a month ago. Your USB Perfit mouse is like having a new computer. I love the feel and the ease of use.

I recently purchased your Perfit Graphite USB x small right handed mouse and I am writing to say that I am now one of your very satisfied customers. When I found the mouse on the net, I was a bit chagrinned at the price tag of $99.95, but ordered anyway, thinking that if it was truly the right size for my hand and really ergonomic, it would be worth it.

I am a massage therapist and know the damage that repetitive tasks can do to the body, most especially the fingers and wrist, and the importance therefore of ergonomic design in those tools that require repetitive motion in those areas becomes most important. I find your sizing your mice to the size of the hand to be a marvelous idea both in theory and in practice and the ergonomic shape is perfect. The lack of resistence in the unit when one is clicking the buttons is most welcome too, and the bonus of having the auto scrolling feature puts the icing on the proverbial cake.

Thanks to your company for coming up with such a perfect design and for placing your products info. within the search engines in a way that made it possible for me to find you as I searched for a "small mouse for the Mac."

I could not be more pleased with your product and I thank you most sincerely.
A satisfied customer with a happy hand,

Annie Mac

Your mouse has cured my tendonitis. I can't imagine a better mouse. Without it, I could not have a job that involves frequent computer use. Since every job now requires frequent computer use, your mouse has been a "life saver"!

I had a Sun on my desk before, and "Major AeroSpace Company" bought me a Contour Mouse because I had a Worker's Compensation case for DeQuervain's tenosynovitis. I then was given a PC, so they had to get me a new mouse. It is *way* more comfortable than any other mouse I have used, as I don't have to cramp my hands the way I do for most mice, which are too small.

Monica Ron

Thank you! Got it yesterday!!! This mouse should be mandatory, it's fantastic!

I've been using mice for seven years. About six months ago my wrist began getting sore about half way through the day. It got so that I would do everything I could to avoid having to move the mouse. Even then, my wrist would end up hurting for hours each day. In desperation, I tried the Contour Mouse (size large). It is a strange contraption and it took me about two weeks to retrain myself to use my arm, rather than my wrist to move the mouse. But it made a remarkable difference! The pain in my wrist receded and I rarely get any discomfort any more. I've been using the Contour Mouse for three months now and would never go back to a conventional shaped mouse. From time to time, I still catch myself moving the mouse with my wrist. (Seven years of habit is hard to break.) But even then, the Contour Mouse supports my hand better than a conventional mouse and helps prevent injury.

Gary Jonas

I love this mouse. That may seem strong, but when you realize you hand is no longer going numb and your wrist no longer cracks and causes you pain, you get those sorts of feelings.

I use a large-size Contour. Until I found it, I had never found a mouse that fit my hand. All of them were too small and forced me to really grip them. Being small, they also created a wrist-flicking style of mouse movement, that when done all day every day (I'm a programmer) eventually killed my wrist. The closest I had come was a Logitech Mouse Man, but even it was just a temporary solution. With it my wrist never got any better, it just didn't get any worse.

After having the Contour for about a month, the pain in my wrist is mostly gone. The bones in my wrist no longer crack, and my wrist doesn't get stiff by the end of the day. My hand doesn't get numb, either.

Yes, it does take a couple of days to adapt to the whole-arm motion that the Contour mouse needs, but I can completely and honestly say it is worth it. It's no different than back when we all first tried to get the hang of a mouse. My take on it is that what you're doing in learning how to use this mouse is _un_learning all of the bad habits your current mouse has trained you to.

After having to use the mouse on my home machine (Logitech) extensively this past weekend, I'm going this week to buy another Contour for home. The pain from using the small mouse is all back again.

The Contour mouse is worth every penny, and all the re-training time, in my opinion. You just have to ask yourself how much is the use of one of your hands worth to you?

To me, it's a lot. I can't say enough good things about the Contour mouse.

Stephen Drye

I have been using the large contour mouse for almost a week and the device has been a wonder. I was having lots of pain in my wrist and fingers with my Logitech trackball. I switched to a Logitech mouse and the pain diminished in my fingers but increased in my wrist and began in my shoulder. To make a long story short..your product has relived all this pain and has generated non in return. I thank you for the great design and effort your people have obviously put into this mouse. I can now surf the web and play on battlenet with my son for hours and still do a days work on the PC.

Please feel free to use any or all of this e-mail as a testimonial for your wonderful product line. I have already begun to express the satisfaction I have with it to all my friends and contacts. Thank you again.

CONTOUR did exactly what they set out to do. The 1000+ people I support in this building have several carpal tunnel victims who like this mouse over any other gel support or mouse pad variation.

It is rare that a product really lives up to its advertising hype, especially when it is supposed to do something as nebulous as make your hand or arm "feel better." I had been using a Microsoft mouse (the old "Dove bar" shape) eight to ten hours per day for last six years. Suddenly, about 4 months ago, I noticed my hand and forearm muscles were stiff and sore. Within a day or two, I could barely move my hand after using the mouse for only a few minutes. I rearranged my work station so the keyboard, mouse, chair and monitor were at the right height, etc., etc., according to all the ergonomic diagrams. Slight improvement. Next I bought a new (Logitech) mouse, then two different trackballs. No improvement. with any of them. I was beginning to worry that I would not be able to use a computer any more—a scary thought since my entire livelihood depends on it. About 3 months ago I noticed an ad for the Contour Mouse. I ordered one. It took several days to get accustomed to using it. But soon I noticed that the pain and soreness was diminishing. Within a week the pain was gone and it has not returned.

I highly recommend this product to anyone who uses a mouse more than occasionally. Congratulations for making such a great product!

First I used generic mouse models. After this, acquiring a little hand/arm discomfort, I decided to use Logitech, a good mouse. Even though, I decided to buy Contour Mouse, and, Oh, Lord, it is too much better. Is not possible to compare with no other mouse. The only error I did was the mouse size. I think it is very large to my hand, but it is not a problem. I will buy another. Please continue to sell it.

Well-designed, sensible product that addresses the profound variation in human anatomy that exists in the world, a real antidote to the "one size fits all" mentality that diminishes so many products distributed today. A marked improvement for a necessary part of computing today.

I am using one of your (Large) contour mouses. I have suffered from pisiform hamate syndrome (similar to carpal tunnel but a different nerve and different bone involved) long enough to have foreshortening of the tendons in my elbow to set in. With your mouse I can get through a day without a lot of elbow pain.
