Compact;
great software.
the
Countour Design MiniPRO mouse has excellent software
that allows users to define program-specific functions.
For example, mouse clicks can be set to launch KeyQuencer
macros and commands, to open items, to perform keystrokes,
and to launch URLs. Plus, users can choose from up to
15 different mouse tracking speeds or use the default
speed setting from the mouse control panel.

(The
Contour MiniPRO Mouse) is the mouse I liked the best.
It is ideal for those that don't need or want more sophisticated
mousing capabilities. Kids will love it, Grandma and
Grandpa will like its simplicity and the average computer
user will find the functions adequate.
Beautifully
designed mouse, lightweight, software takes good advantage
of second button, inexpensive, uncomplicated

With
its tough case, it makes an excellent travelling mouse
for iBook and PowerBook owners.

The
optical technology works very nicely. It responded well
on all the surfaces we tried it on, from a mouse pad
to our pants, literally. In the dark, the red light
that detects movement looks great. For those who do
not know, optical devices use light to replace the traditional
mouse ball to detect movement and it is very accurate
while the ball could cause problems when the rollers
needed cleaning.
"....can
function on virtually any type of surface."
Pros:
Two buttons, Button flavors, Efficient optical technology,
Sturdy case, 32-inch cord

(out of 5) Gadgies

Since
I have had carpel tunnel problems in the past, I was
surprised to find that the size of the mouse allowed
my fingertips to do all the work, therefore taking most
of the pressure off my all-important right wrist.
A
mighty two-thumb's up to Contour Design for a major
mouse hit! Who would have thought computer peripherals
could be this exciting?! It certainly is among The REVIEW
ZONE's Top Tech Toys of 2000! It also fits nicely into
a Christmas stocking for that special someone! Now,
that's a hint!

Another
great feature is the Pack n' Go case that ships with
the MiniPRO mouse. The case lets you store and carry
the mouse while protecting it, which makes it easy to
carry in a laptop bag.
It
is compact, lightweight, and functional, allowing more
precision control than using the trackpad; what more
do you want?

Stylish
compact design is ideal for laptop users on the go.
Use it anywhere on almost any surface including the
top of your head! The mouse is optimally designed to
be comfortable, yet so compact it comes with a carrying
case to provide added protection and easy cord storage.
This
smaller, lighter mouse is a better choice for individuals
with small hands, and laptop users. It requires a minimal
amount of finger dexterity to engage the button functions.

The
technology behind this mini beauty is pretty impressive
as well. Its optical, which is not only practical
from a design perspective, but also makes it more durable
during travel. Dont make me say it again; no balls
or rollers to jam or clog.
Whether
youre a portable user or not, even if you love
your track pad, this thing is too cool to pass up.
